A highlight of any trip to Glasgow, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum hosts one of the finest civic collections in Europe and recently underwent a massive £35 million restoration. And wow, was it worth it.

Inside the 22 themed, state-of-the-art galleries, visitors can browse an astonishing 8000 items, including works by celebrated Scottish artist/architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Dali's iconic painting of 'Christ of St John of the Cross'. New and exciting temporary exhibitions arrive throughout the year.

As with many of Scotland's fine museums and galleries, entry to the Kelvingrove is free. Which means you can come back as often as you like. And take our word for it, you'll want to.
